No Messenger mentions notification sound effect

Hello, recently I realized that when someone mentions me on group chat on Messenger the default notification sound is played (the standard one that plays when you for example get a private message). I don't really remember if it was working before but it doesn't now for sure. I reinstalled the app and it didn't work. I have Redmi Note 8 Pro.
