Gmail no sound and vibration for notifications

I flashed the xiaomi.eu_DADA_OS2.0.116.0.VOCCNXM_15 ROM on my Xiaomi 15. Everything works fine except for some minor bugs, but this one is annoying. Gmail notifications are silent, no sound or vibration. I enabled every setting in Gmail notifications, tried to change notification sound, but it remains silent. Tried to reinstall Gmail, but didn't change anything.

Anyone experienced this bug with this ROM? Any clue how to resolve this?

I experienced this even on Stock Xiaomi ROM. What I did to fix this is open GMail->Settings-><email account>->Inbox notifications then check "Notify for every message"

That fixed it, thank you! I didn't even try it, because on my previous phone it worked without enabled this setting.

I know. I came from s21 Ultra and upgraded to Xiaomi 15 and this isn't happening on my Samsung phone back then. But I'm not sure if it is a GMail issue or a Xiaomi issue because I can fix it thru settings.

It's probably just some incompatibility on how they handle push notifications.
