I have the bootloader unlocked, usb debugging enabled. However, any attempts to flash my custom rom is met with the message that it cannot be flashed due to my device being locked. I came across a couple of articles and post saying that I should use the Mi Unlock tool, which I diligently did. However, even the Mi Unlock tool prompts me with "cannot unlock device", login with Mi account and check unlock status. I do have a Mi account, and did so for as long as I had the phone, which would be about three years. But still, I am completely unable to unlock the phone. Any help is appreciated.
