Wifi speed limit

Hi,

I received my mi2 last week and flashed MIUI 3.2.1 on it from this website. I noticed that my network speeds on wifi are somehow weird. Down I am not getting past 3 mbps and up I can reach 18 mbps (with the speedtest.net app). I have a symmetric 100 mbps internet line (theoretically) so this is not a bottleneck and with my laptop on the same wifi I can reach easily 40 mbps up/down. It bothers me because it takes large amounts of time to transfer files over ftp. Anyone having the same issues?

Changing my wifi's WPA Algorithms from AES to TKIP did the job. Speed is now close to 20 mbit up/down. Anyone else experiencing the same?
