Wifi Router 4 speed issues

Hello!

Just got my Mi 4A router, after doing the setup I only get about 90mbps on the 5G band, on my other router I get about 180Mbps. I have fiber 250Mbps in my appartement. Ive tried putting in 250mbps in the settings meny but still wont get over 90Mbps over the 5G band just sitting beside the router..

What am I doing wrong?

You bought the wrong router.

The ports are only supporting 100mbps.

You need to buy a gigabit router that supports up 1000mbps in order to have >100mbps. That's how it works.
