I am posting here to share my current unofficial TWRP bring-up for the Xiaomi 17 series and to link my main XDA thread.

Current device branches:
Current status
Xiaomi 17 (pudding)
Xiaomi 17 Pro Max (popsicle)
Xiaomi 17 Ultra (nezha)
So right now, the Xiaomi 17 base is the most advanced branch.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is in active pre-decrypt development.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is currently still at the touch-fix stage.
The remaining models still need more real-device testing and development work.
What I am looking for
I am currently looking for people who can help with real-device testing, especially for:
Having active testers helped a lot on the Xiaomi 17 base, and I would like to finish the other branches the same way.
If you want to help
Please contact me on Telegram if you own one of these devices and are willing to test recovery builds, report results properly, and provide logs when needed.

- Work has moved into pre-decrypt stage
- PIN/password prompt and storage size detection are working
- Full decrypt is not complete yet
- This branch still needs more testing and more work
Xiaomi 17 Ultra (nezha)
- Current progress is still limited to touchscreen bring-up / touch fix work
- This branch is behind the other models
- It has not yet reached the same level as the Xiaomi 17 base
- More testing and development work are still needed

Please include:
- your exact device model
- whether recovery boots
- whether touch works
- whether ADB works
- whether internal storage is visible
- whether a decrypt prompt appears
- whether internal storage contents are actually accessible
- whether MTP works
- any freezes, bootloops or UI issues
Useful logs:
- recovery.log
- logcat from recovery
- dmesg
