Should I switch to xiaomi.eu based to my status?

I am planning to switch to xiaomi.eu Dom on my POCO X7 Pro. I know that the xiaomi.eu ROM for mediatek devices are on patreon but before unlocking my bootloader and subscribing to patreon, I wanted to ask some questions. Thanks for the people helping already.

What are the chances of my phone getting soft/hard bricked?
Will xiaomi.eu get the HyperOS 3 update?
What services will I lose (like GPay)
What are the most dominant advantages and disadvantages
Anything else I need to know? I'm kinda newbie.

I don't know how we can answer the first question.
The project usually follow the official releases, so as long as it continues, and there is enough contributors for your phone model, I would say that you should get future updates.

Google has strengthened Play Integrity* protection and our workaround is no longer effective. You can just accept it and use another payment method (like Curve Pay), try using complex root hacks (example) at your own responsibility, or return to an official ROM with the bootloader locked...
