Redmi 3 Update Without Root

Hi to all!

I am new on xiaomi so i read a lot and i have a lot of questions on that
My device is xiaomi redmi 3
I've bought it and i think its an excellent device with a perfect software.
From the beginning i have a MIUI xiaomi.eu 7.1.3.0 Stable
How can i upgrade it without root? It has no root access

If it's already on a xiaomi.eu rom, it also should have twrp installed..
so you should be able to update from this recovery?

You can enter the recovery by shutting down your phone en pressing both power and volume +
then you'll enter either the original recovery, or twrp, if it is installed.

Thanks for answering. There is no twrp installed. I think its the original recovery.
Do i have any option on that?
Can i update without root? And if yes which software version?

Well then i'm really not sure.
if you dont have twrp, i don't know if your bootloader is unlocked, and with the original recovery, you should be fairly limited in the type of rom you could have on your phone.
I now there is a few mods of the xiaomi.eu than can be installed with a locked phone (swing..) but that shouldn't be the case with the xiaomi.eu roms you can find here...
And if you install an update for a rom that doesn't match yours, this will a least wipe your phone.

My advice would be to backup your data, then wipe your phone and install whatever you want (official, x.eu or another) so you're sure of what you have on your phone...
