My Mi 11i uses global, do I need to change my rom the china rom before changing to xiaomi eu?

Basically, in this guide https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...xiaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-redmi-k40-pro.60382/ it says that you need to "- Update China ROM to the latest via updater app first..", but the Mi 11i has global by default. Can I update directly to the EU rom, or do I need to install the chinese rom first?

I flashed Xiaomi CN Rom and I haved EU or Global Stock Rom. Not problem. Via Fastboot.
