MIUI 12.6 (21.7.21) - updater not working?

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster.

I just installed TWRP and MIUI 12.6 (21.7.21) successfully on my "Mi 10T Lite 5G".

However, the updater doesn't seem to be working. It will see the new update (21.7.28) and download it. But, when I click "Check MD5 & Install" nothing happens.

I previously had Xiaomi EU weekly rom on my old Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the weekly updates just downloaded and installed without a hitch.

Is there something different or new I should be aware of?

Hello,

Try to clear all data of the Updater app, in phone's settings, then try to use the Updater again.

If it still not working, please feedback here.

That seems to have done it, easy

It now causes the phone to restart in twrp, where I can select the update zip.

Quick question before I update - I assume as this is just as update to the previous weekly build that I don't need to clear davlik or cache or facroty reset, etc?

You don't need to wipe anything when updating.
