Mi2s Dead ??

Hi all,

a few days ago my Mi2s just died on me while surfing the web. Screen went black and the phone shuts down.
Now i can't even get into fastboot/recovery, only the red light turns on for 5 seconds when i connect my phone to my pc or wall charger.

So i searched the web for a solution ans found this thread http://en.miui.com/thread-75414-1-1.html
I followed all the steps, but in MiFlash i always get the message "fatal error (0x8000ffff: open EMMC card USER partition)"

Does anyone knows what this means and how to fix it ?

I got the same experience with my phone and it was the battery.Suddenly my phone was off and it didn't seems to react at all except for the red charging light.So my battery didn't hold charge- i was charging the phone for 2 hours and only got mi logo and that was.So i tried a thing a know from my xbox play and charge kit battery -

I tried all the little circuits with the paper clip i don't remember which of them i got together but the paper clip got warm and there was a spark.When i was sure there was no more electricity in the battery i put it on the phone and tried charging it and it worked.

If you have another battery or a friend with the same phone or battery you can try if it is the same problem.

My sister also has a Mi2s ,so I will try with here battery in a few days.

I've just tried a different battery but unfortunately that didn't solve my problem.
The phone is still "dead" besides the short blinking red led when I connect the charger.
