Issue with Google Pay on Mi10 Ultra, China Rom

Hi guys, recently got my hands on a mi 10 ultra, loving it so far, still waiting for my bootloader to be unlocked so that I can flash it.

In the meantime, I'm trying to get google pay to work correctly, I'm able to add cards but when I try to use it on a payment terminal the following message appears:

"Loading, please keep network alive"

And then it will fail to load, I'm suspecting it has something to do with the default apps of the China rom, not too sure what though.

Check NFC Settings' Secure Element Position if it's using HCE wallet.

Make sure you have the HCE Wallet option selected
