I raised some feedback about gesture shortcuts & Menu button in the bug section.

Do you know anyone else experiencing this on 2.0.205.0?
Poco F6 Pro is my device with the issue

My menu button (on-screen) doesn't act as a menu button now
Gesture shortcuts doesn't allow to set a button for Recents App screen

So in the previous version (105), my menu button on-screen used to open menu in apps, this no longer happens. It now acts like the Recents Apps button if I press it once.

When I try set the shortcut for "Press and Hold Menu", I used to have that as Recents, but that no longer appears in the section you mentioned.

I did try to reflash the ROM again to see if that was the issue, but that didn't seem to help.

If the single press to Recents is a change from Xiaomi's side, fair enough I'll live with that.

But losing the menu button functionality to use it as a menu button, is a little annoying which made me wonder if it was a bug as it working pre update

Then it was removed. I don't have OS2.0.2xx yet in any case.

Fair enough.

And about the menu button, it should act as a menu button I assume? (In apps that have a menu drop-down, it should open it right?)

I don't know how it should act on OS2.0.2xx, I hadn't the chance to experience the changes...

Ai features are native library packages downloaded from a Xiaomi cloud server. Those are low-level SoC-specific implementation utilizing the device's DSP.
 
Has anyone installed the latest peridot OS2.0.107.0.VNPCNXM_15 (2025-05-14)?

Last time I flashed it with fastboot on my Turbo 3 there was an error and it hard bricked it. Now I have a new POCO F6 and I'm scared to flash it.

Maybe I should try install TWRP first and flash with recovery instead.

Never had any issues here. Just flash via fastboot because twrp is buggy af and not usable.

Using xiaomi.eu_MARBLE_OS2.0.7.0.VMRCNXM_15 on my global Poco F5.
Ist there a solution to the following probelm?
Opening the gallery and playing a video, if the video is still playing I can swipe left or righ to the next picture/video.
But if I'm looking the video to the end - normally the video would stop and I can swipe left or right.
Right, now this is how the gallery works on my X14 for example.
But now on the Poco F5 when the video stops because of ending then it will open mi video app. I don't want that.
Now I have to close mi vide app pressing a few times the back button to get back to the gallery where I can swipe through the other files.

Is there a solution that the gallery can work in the normal usual way? THANKS!
 
Is it ok to patch the boot.img from the rom I want to upgrade to, so I can keep the root straight after fastboot flash? I'm going from EMUI 14 to HyperOS 2.0.1.0, phone is Mi 11 ultra (star). Fingers crossed that uperf continues to work going from android 13 to 14..

Some people (like myself) prefer booting into the flashed ROM first.
Then flash the patched boot.img, which in your case, I would highly recommend you do AFTER first-time boot in HOS.
