How To Update To Miui 9 Without Any Problem?

How to update to MIUI 9 without any problem?
I read here, many people get stucked on bootloader and i read many people updating without any problem...

So, what are the safety steps to update from last MIUI 8 to last MIUI 9?
Install via TWRP or install via Updater app? Should i install any patch before?

Well, i installed the last update using TWRP 3.0.3.0 (i guess thats this my TWRP version) and doing WIPE CACHE and DALVIK, until now ZERO PROBLEMS

Should I do it via updater on the phone or via fastboot tool on PC?

Hello,
can you give the steps that you performed?
I am having issues updating to the latest versions.
I can't seem to pass 7.9.14
Every version that I flash or use as update results in a bootloop

I used twrp 3.1.1 and libra 7.
I'm thinking of giving up on this and just use 6.12.22.

Dont give up!
Try to install 7.11.2 via TWRP and WIPE CACHE and DALVIK

I managed to upgrade to latest only after I officially unlocked the bootloader. Thanks
