I am xiaomi and miui lover...
My MI3 was my first phone. I have had 5 different xiaomi phones after that and my wife was still using this MI3 for years. I bought her a new xiaomi but the MI3 works still perfectly, even the battery. So i want to use it for my son who is 8 years old. Google family link looks great to create his own google account. However the latest MIUI version for cancro is based on android 6 and that is not enough for Google family link. Is there a work around or is it possible to update gapps to make it work? The minimum specs are Android 5.1 and Google Play-services 8.6 So, does anybody has experiance with this or is there an other way to create an account for my 8 year old son?
