My brother has put a password on his tablet and forgot it. I tried to wipe the data (pressing the power/vol down buttons), but it doesn't show the option, only rebooting and connecting with MIAssistant. I tried to use the threads on here, but none of the suggestions that I tried worked. I also tried to mess with fastboot (D), but when I set the tablet into said mode, it wouldn't show up on the computer, nor did the ADB work either. Is it possible to fix it at home, or do we have to take it to a professional? I'll be trying my best to do this at home, even though I'm not very good at this. Please someone help if you can.
PS. It has Family Link. I already removed the Google account while connected to WiFi, but the option is still not there.
