Duplicate files in music player

Hey, I'm having trouble with the miui music player...every song is displayed twice...only one of each file on the phone but showing it twice...any ideas?

I tried clearing cache and data to no avail

Have the same problem now on Mi3, 3.11.15 multilang -- did you find a solution?

Found a workaround: in settings filter folders I discovered it indexed all my music twice, /emulated/legacy and /emulated/0 ... so I could disable the dupes there. Is this a newly introduced bug?

I can't remember the exact steps but I deleted some database files somewhere and rebooted. I got worried because all my photos disappeared to but I just took a photo and they all got re databased it were. Sorry for late reply
