Hi,
If i connect mi2s to my tv lcd lg tv i am only able to see photos but not videos. In the notifications it tells me to switch to files. If i do that the usb gets disconnected on tv

Why dont you try to connect trhough HDMI instead of USB?

Yes, it works better than waiting the TV searching for files on your phone if you got alot. Search for "micro usb to HDMI" on eBay and don't forget tout choose the right length for your need. It's between 5$ and 12$, I think there's no need to go in higher prices for that.

Dude, your tv probably doesn't support the video compression formats of the video files you are trying to play through usb.

In other words; your tv can't decode the video files and thus won't play them.

i am able to connect the phone to my tv using phones like xolo, samsung etc. only xiaomi i am not able t0 connect.

Anyone know how to force HDMI output resolution? I wan't to use HDMI2VGA converter after that but it always gives me lowest output which is 640x480
