Can't Download Files From Facebook Messenger

Hello redmi 3 community,

Recently I bought a xiaomi redmi 3 and while I was working I recieved a .pdf and a .doc file, however everytime I try to download it, it asks for a confirmation to download it. However, seems like it's not responding after I accept the transfer. I can save pictures, but I can not download direct files from messenger.


I've found that I can download files from browser, and I do believe that messenger isn't been redirected to the browser to perform such download.

Enlight me please!

i think only download files if you have viewer of this files
try to install pdf o doc viewer apk,

I already have acrobat reader and word and still does nothing.

you have active Documents in apps installed?
(by default is inactive)

Doesn't give me the option to set it to default. Nothing related to documents
