I'm using Redmi Note 4x. The button lights worked fine on MIUI 9 and 10 Global version. They don't work on EU version anymore. The backlights for Home, Back, Menu buttons.
I tried installing a random app that's supposed to use the button lights and this is the error I get:

They're turned on in Settings. I even tried the "Always On" option, but they still don't work. I also tried the CIT test when you tap on Kernel multiple times and they still don't work.
