Same here on Mi 9 and Google maps. Setting permission access location to only when app is running or ask. After a short time permission access location has changed to always without granting it or doing anything else.

It is working after deleting all data of app Uhr (German). Should be App Watch in English.

First of all thank's to the team. I did a dirty flash coming from 20.5.7. on Mi 9. With flashing 20.5.14 a lot of given permissions to the Apps are changed or being now incorrect. So if your Apps don't work in used manner check given permissions first of all. ( new permission manager ? )

In twrp FORMAT Data with answer yes. You will loose all your data. Don't swipe data, that is not enough.
