Of course it did, you don't defragment flash or ssd storage. It doesn't damage storage, it makes it faster

Well I don't know as I am not the manifacturer of the devices, but you should at least trust why they do it! It means they have a reason!!!Of course it did, you don't defragment flash or ssd storage.

What happens "while the phone is off" has nothing to do with our ROM.I found a bug in the Poco F7 EU ROM. When I plug it in while the phone is off, it turns on automatically. It won't charge while it's off. @Igor Eisberg
With the original ROM installed on the phone, it charges while it's off and not turned on. After installing the EU ROM, the phone charges every time I try to charge it while it's off, so it's going open. That's why I asked. Thank you for your help. What happens "while the phone is off" has nothing to do with our ROM.
Maybe some bug in the firmware, dunno. The included firmware is untouched. With the original ROM installed on the phone, it charges while it's off and not turned on. Freezing the security app on HyperOS would break like >60% of UX system functions. You should never even attempt that. How to freeze security app on hyper os 2.0?
I try to use hail but permission denied?
This defragmentation issue just wont stop
Wipe is usually not necessary even when updating to a newer Android version.I'll be updatting from HyperOS 1.0.12.0 (mondrian) to the current, which means android version upgrade as well. What's the best approach here: just flash with fastboot, or is full wipe recommended for this?
You must press the button EXACTLY 2 SECONDS before midnight (Shanghai local time). You probably will have to attempt a few times before to be selected.Hi everyone, I have a Xiaomi 14 that just came back from service (they replaced the motherboard). I need to unlock the bootloader.
I’ve done everything in the developer options, tried adding the device, but it says: 'Couldn't add. Please go to Mi Community.'
So I did — I set it to Global and selected the 'Unlock Bootloader' option.
Here’s where the issue starts: it tells me I have to wait for Chinese midnight, but I’ve been trying for 3 days now, setting an alarm to be ready — and every time it ends up saying 'Application quota limit reached. Please try again tomorrow.'
Does anyone have a solution, or am I missing something? Thanks!
thanks, i'll try your way!You must press the button EXACTLY 2 SECONDS before midnight (Shanghai local time). You probably will have to attempt a few times before to be selected.
N.B.: Verify you don't have old phones that you unlocked in the past still linked to your Xiaomi account. If you have someone remove it and retry to link your account in Mi unlock in developer options. (So has happened to me.. )
I use an app called caffeine.Good day, I want to prevent my Xiaomi 14 from sleeping and shutting off screen. Currently maximum time is 10 minutes.
Can I do this somehow without having a rooted firmware? Perhaps with adb?
there are scripts which helps u to press in the right moment and doenst matter if u got an error, try after everytime u tried get permission to link your account.thanks, i'll try your way!
There are no updates from Xiaomi ? What are u expecting?Hey everyone.
I'd like to ask if ROM updates will continue on the 15 Ultra. I'm not asking about OTAs because I know that's inappropriate, but I just want to know if the project is continuing.
Thanks for the reply.
I'm not expecting anything. I asked politely. I've seen that companies' policies regarding bootloader unlocking are changing due to pressure and restrictions from Google. I wasn't asking about the date of the new update, but rather whether the Xiaomi EU team would continue their hard work. There are no updates from Xiaomi ? What are u expecting?
No one said they will stop working on Xiaomi.eu
