Annoying problem with shortcuts to the launcher

Hi there!

I have an annoying problem with my Mi 11 Ultra since it was updated to the latest version of Xiaomi.eu stable ROM (v. 12.5.20.0.RKACNXM).

Personal file and website shortcuts to the launcher disappear whenever the smartphone is rebooted.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any solution?

It seems a system launcher bug. I have v. RELEASE-4.25.1.3717-10291035, but I just found on a famous app repository website many other versions, both previous and later (the latest one, from November 24, is RELEASE-4.25.1.3965-11222033).

Is it possible to install independently launcher app? In this case, do you know which version is free of this bug?

UPDATE: I just downloaded the latest system launcher version and tried to install it, but I received this alert: "No se pueden instalar aplicaciones del sistema desde medios no oficiales" ['Unable to install system apps from unofficial media']. I tried the installation from stock File Manager.

you have to enable "allow installation from unknown sources"

you cant update system apps in 99% of xiaomi.eu roms

you have to use workarounds or magisk module

Finally it was not necessary because I found an easy way to install the latest version of system launcher. That version solved the problem I described above.
