Try, I think that no but try with a chinese fastboot rom with miflash, if breaks, flash a mi 6x chinese rom again

I am new to xiaomi. Will it trigger ARB if I were to flash between the roms as u mentioned above? Thank you

I don't have this device, but what I would try to do is go on XDA-Developers and install a custom ROM like Pixel Experience or Lineage OS. I recommend you to go and read the guides there because they explain the whole process quite well.
