Hello,
I had an issue with my Mi 11 Ultra where the sound would cut in and out during calls and media playback. Since Xiaomi doesn’t service the Mi 11 Ultra in London, I used the phone with this problem for a few weeks while saving money. Eventually, the phone froze, rebooted, and went into a boot loop for about one to two weeks. Now, it won’t turn on at all.
I took it to a mobile repair shop, and they suggested CPU reballing, which supposedly has an 80% success rate. However, I’ve read that the heat from the Snapdragon 888 might cause the solder to fail again. I know someone who had their Mi 11 Ultra repaired, but it only worked for a couple of months before failing again.
Given these risks, I’m wondering if the quality of the reballing service affects its longevity. I also have important data on the phone and love its design and cameras.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
