Xiaomi 17 pro max hyperos4???

1. It's always difficult to test and fix anything without having a physical device with HyperOS 4.
2. Official HyperOS 4 Stable ROMs for the Xiaomi 17 series haven't been released yet.

It’s not the official page, but on several sites, it’s appeared as HyperOS 4, Android 17 stable...

Sorry Igor, but I no longer understand why the Chinese are lying to us... The source is Xiaomi Mi Log.

Thanks, werty... HyperOS.fans... that’s the site I couldn't find; everything is clear now... This is the longest transition to HyperOS 4... I guess we'll have it by 2027???
It supposed to come out in October 15th for some of the newest models.

On October 15th, older models are getting the HyperOS 3 update... I don't think the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is getting it; it's basically a single-use device... Damn those Chinese guys, they tricked us.

Whatever you take, i would like to have that too.

Just kidding,

Hi, Marvin... I've been polishing the paint off my phone for a while now—even my eyes have started to slant a bit... I'm Chinese

There’s nothing we can do; my phone is running the xiaomi.eu firmware... we’ll have to keep waiting until the staff updates it to HyperOS 4 / Android 17...

I've been using this beta version for a while now and it's great and stabil, but I'll switch to the stable version when Xiaomi.eu releases it.

Yes, I'm still waiting for xiaomi.eu. It will probably be out in a few days

Muhammet, you want to unlock the bootloader on Android 17... I think you should ask the xiaomi.eu staff... From what I’m reading, the Chinese are imposing stricter restrictions for unlocking on Android 16... but you’re looking to do it on Android 17.

The Restrictions for Chinese devices are there since HyperOS1 afaik

I’m aware of that too, but with every HyperOS update, they’re tightening phone security—I’m referring specifically to devices running the Chinese ROM. Just try flashing a Chinese ROM onto a phone that currently has a custom ROM... there’s a 90% chance you’ll brick it.
