hi, I am new to xiaomi devices. I just bought xioami mi4c. I want to know if unlocking boot loader is necessary to install xiaomi.eu rom ? My phone came with the software MIUI Global 7.3 stable LXKCNDD

I've been able to flash twrp via fastboot without unlocking the bootloader but the touch is not working in twrp
