Stuck In Child Mode

I have put the phone into child mode and cannot get out, with only compass, music, clock, calculator, camera and scanner apps available. As there is no browser available, I cannot use the method often described (search in airplane mode). The other solution, regarding calling a number and pressing contacts, either hasn't worked for me or I don't understand the instructions. Any solution would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
