[solved] Google Account lock on old 4X

Hi guys, i bought a 4x from ebay for a friend. It was chinese version. I unlocked, installed twrp and flashed xiaomi.eu rom .. all fine. now when booting it is askin for the google account of the formal owner. As i only payed 15€ for it the formal owner on ebay told me he will not give me his account (of cause no) and he can also not see this device in his google account.

TWRP is installed and active, so i have full control.

What can I do to add my own google account.

I have phone and original package with imei an everything - legit owner now.

Short: You need to activate the OEM Unlocking in developer Settings before wiping the device in settings. wipring with active OEM Unlocking deaktivates the Google security locking.

in order to get to the settings you need to fake call 911 to get to the phone book from where you can get to the sms app where you can open youtube in which settings you can get to chrome where you can download a launcher apk, install it and open the new launcher and then you have access to the system settings. took me a few tries but worked well.
