either use OTB or fastboot since your recovery is useless as it is now.

It doesn't Work for me by simply flash the Orange fox back on the already installed one.

Despite all I figured out somethings:

When you do a clean flash, you get no your encryption but your fingerprint doesn't work.

On the other hand when you update using the ota method, you get fingerprint back working but you get encrypted.
........
So that end resolution is:

Encryption = Fingerprint Working
No Encryption = No fingerprint working.

worked with me without formatting, I just installed the new version of orangefox on top of the previous one

The steps I followed were.
1) sideload the rom / flash it from usb-otg via recovery.
2)boot to recovery, ignore decryption error and flash new OF recovery via usb-otg/sideload/adb
3) reboot to recovery to find no encryption anymore. Voilà.

I got my fixed now.. but there's something I spotted.

When the phone stay idle for a while, The mic doesn't work when on call.

I have to reboot the the person can hear my voice.

Anyone else facing that?

No idea about that mate. Maybe its the known issue with Google voice assistant.
