Moving Apps To Sd Card On Redmi 2

Hi there....I want to move several apps to the SD card on Redmi 2, so is it the same like other Redmi versions that I have to root it first before I can move the apps to the SD card?

Could anyone help with the steps please?

Yes.. You have to root your redmi2. And you can use Foldermount to move some of your app data to ext storage.
