MIX 3 Stable ROM detected as Mi 9

Hi there, I recently found out that Google detects my MIX 3 device as Mi 9, in fact I looked at the build.prop and the fingerprint is from cepheus (Mi 9)
Why is this?
I'm using latest Stable ROM.
