MiFlash not flashing properly?

Hi,

Here's my problem.. tried using MiFlash but it wouldn't flash right. I've got the drivers installed, extracted from the *.exe downloaded.. Refreshed and saw my device, browsed to the extracted folder and clicked "Flash". The progress bar just zooms right across and the whole thing is done in 0s? I wanna wipe the whole phone on both partitions and flash a brand new ROM on it..

What am I doing wrong? Is there a full tutorial to this? Is it driver problem or..?

are you putting your device in fastboot mode?

EDIT:
also the flash scripts in the mi2 file have different names so you will have to change what script it uses based on what you want to wipe. i will post screen shots once i get to try it gotta use a different pc and it's in use right now.

Yeah, the device is already at fastboot mode when I tried this..

ok have a look at my guide. i think it's becuase of the fastboot script it's trying to use...
