Invalid Mi mix 2 , can't assign Google assistant to ( hold power ) after pie update

Title says it all . Before pie update I could assign the google assistant on holding power alone and now I need to assign power + button like home , back or menu . Even if you try to assign Google assistant I some menu it doesn't enter it .

I had the same Problem. Try going to 'Settings -> Manage Apps -> Default Apps (3 Dot menu) ->Assist & voice input' here you can choose google assistant as the Assistant app and it should work
