is it okay to patch my boot.img with the recovery version of xiaomi.eu? (rooting)

hello

i basically want to root my phone but i cant seem to find any fastboot version of xiaomi.eu, so i checked in the .zip file and there are images there, is it okay to patch them?

and do i flash the patched boot.img and thats it?
