Installing Google Play Store

Hi all,

I just got a new Redmi 1S WCDMA which came without Google Play Store app installed. Every time I want to install any app from Google Play store web, it's denied with "You don't have any devices". I've tried to install the apk file but it didn't succeed.

Could anyone help me to deal with this, please?

Download .zip, copy it to internal memory, open updater app, menu - select instalation zip - done

Hey ingbrzy. I got a redmi 1s recently for a friend and it is running firmware version MIUI-JHCCNBD23.0 . Is it ok to flash your latest xiaomi.eu stable 24 rom using the method you mentioned above without wiping or anything first?

Once this is done will OTA updates get pushed to the device? thanks
