Hi, I recently bought the Chinese variant of the Redmi K80, but I'm having trouble using it properly because of the Chinese ROM. Notifications aren't working correctly, and I want to switch to the Global ROM. How can I do that? Also, is there a risk of damaging the motherboard? If I change the ROM, will I still receive future updates? And will the notification issue be resolved?

Hi, I’m in the exact same situation.
I recently bought the Redmi K80 Chinese variant, and I’m facing several issues with the Chinese ROM. Aside from the notification problems and app restrictions, I’ve also noticed that 5G doesn’t work — it seems Xiaomi has restricted 5G usage outside of China on this model.
I tried unlocking the bootloader, but I got an error saying my account region doesn’t match the device region (my Mi account was created in Thailand).

Really hoping someone here can help with a workaround or solution. Looking forward to any guidance. Thanks in advance!
