Control system volume level?

Sorry if this has been asked/answered before. I did a quick search on the forum and didn't find anything. I've noticed that system sound effects (like locking the phone, for example) are not "attached" to the ringer volume level like in other phones I've had (this is my first Xiaomi/MIUI experience). Is there a way to set the volume level for system sounds?

What phone and ROM version are you using? I just found that the system sounds volume on my Mi 9T with Xiaomi.eu weekly rom 20.7.2 (MIUI 12.1) is linked to the ringer volume and changes according to it's volume level.
