change to offical global rom

Hello,

i ordered a mi max 3 from tradingshenzen with "global rom". I found some reports that they are flashing it with xiaomi.eu latest rom. Will i be able to switch to offical global rom after release? If yes are there any downsides to it?

When you order from tradingshenzen you have choice of China Stable or xiaomi.eu. If you install xiaomi.eu you can flash official Global when released but make sure it is higher version than xiaomi.eu version you are using because of anti-rollback protection. But xiaomi.eu usually better than Global. See what they change on their new releases page.

But can I have OTA updates when I flash official Global Rom? ( becouse the bootloader come illegitim unlocked
