Any News About Android 7.1 Or Later For The Redmi Pro

As initially Redmi Pro was included in Xiaomi's statement about upgrading to Android 7.1 - are there any news about any upcoming new Android for the Redmi Pro?

It says China only but as I understand this project is about making China Only to Not Only.

Has the plan of 7.0 died?

unfortunately, that is not relevant and trust-able source.. I highly doubt that MTK SoC device will get any Android version update...

Yeah, unfortunately R4Pro/Prime has been forgotten by Xiaomi regarding Android 7.
Too bad, as this phone has more than enough specs to get Android 7.

Redmi 6/6A comes with MIUI 9 based on Oreo and Redmi 6 has MTK like Redmi Pro.
May has Redmi Pro android 7.x or 8.x with MIUI 10?
