Hi, after I've installed the root with magisk I can't change the launcher grid, and the telegram/whatsapp badge is still not working.
Any solutions?

What's the problem with the launcher grid setting?
The Telegram/Whatsapp notification issues are official MIUI Android 9.0 issues. Nothing we can do about that except waiting for Xiaomi to fix that.
