if your device is CN and if you are trying to RE LOCK it while EU rom is in it then yes.Your device may gone brick. Or vice versa. There are also other circumcitences like if you use TWRP / custom rom and try to re lock it. My device was global and i only change the rom. BTW i wish patience...
