Try flashing just the boot image , fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img . Then try boot twrp from fastboot.

If bootloader is unlocked, you can flash any region rom. Brick happens only when you flash the wrong rom on locked bootloader device.

Flash the official Xiaomi CN or global or any other region rom and you'll get the stock recovery. If you flash xiaomi.eu rom you'll get TWRP back.

Wifi is still fine. When the phone was heating, i cooled it by splashing water .

OS 1.0.5 for Star/Mars is out . I've just installed the update and the phone is getting warmer than usual. I'm a little worried now. Update: The heating stops after a while , it's back to normal .

I've updated to OS1.0.4.0 . Everything is fine , i haven't encountered any crashes so far.

Use Twrp file manager to copy files to OTG drive.

It takes 1-2 weeks before the battery drain reduces, then it becomes much better. You can call up 'hey google' 'battery saver on' , that worked for me.

A few other things you can do to reduce battery drain. 1. Turn off screen auto-rotate 2. Turn off mi cloud sync 3. Turn off xiaomi interconnectivity It's still higher than the older miui but now my battery can last over 12 hours at least. My device is a 2 year old Mi 11 Pro on HyperOS xiaomi.eu.

I'm also on the same HyperOS rom . Gps is working fine .

It's better to use new twrp A14 to be safe.

CPU/soc can reach high temp when flashing in TWRP . Probably that's when the wifi gets damaged or desoldered.

It is official CN rom , Android 14.

Yes you can use the global , I've used it before on this phone. But never relock the bootloader while on global rom.

Bootloader need to be unlocked first.
