It seems like it because I was monitoring the battery usage using Franco Kernel Manager and deep sleep used to always be 0% but after rebooting, it is now around 85%. I'm not totally sure if this is the same as the previous build though

Not sure about previous builds but VPN works fine for me on K30 Pro. Used both 1.1.1.1 Warp VPN and Unlocator VPN

I realized that I did have issues with deep sleep and it was draining battery but as someone else said, restarting pretty much fixes the issue

Just updated to the newest 21.12.10 build on my K30 Pro and the lag is pretty much gone now. And yes, this is without the workaround so the font doesn't look ugly anymore. This build is pretty much almost perfect to use as a daily driver hopefully until a few weeks/months after miui 13 is out...

eh, I could be wrong but I do feel like it's useless because the essence of miui's ram issue is its horrible ram management. My K30 pro has 8 GB of ram and apps don't stay in memory compared to something like AOSP/custom roms

Does safetynet pass in this update? EDIT: I have a K30 Pro and unfortunately, safetynet doesn't pass for me while it does for others. Also, Xiaomi still hasn't fixed dark mode. K30 pro doesn't have performance mode (I'm assuming this is either only for higher end devices or lower end devices)...

Just flashed on K30 pro. Everything looks good so far and I've noticed that dark mode is now pitch black on some.apps, not sure if that's intended or a bug but it's fine, doesn't affect functionality EDIT: Also not sure if this update fixed this as well but turning on the screen is a lot faster...
