VPN is not working on Mi 8 - dipper It's not possible to turn it on, therefore use blokada.apk for ad blocking. Google Pay also does not let adding new card on this version due to mysterious other app blocking the screen. For serious phone usage I wouldn't recommend this update.

Just go with 20.2.27 and wait until you would see in changelogs that they fixed it

20.2.27 is the last version which is not causing lags and freezes with applications and drop down menu on Mi 8
