Never used DC dimming before so I'm not sure but I think it's not working properly, I get brightness flashes when turning the screen on and also the screen saturation changes.

The DC dimming feature, when enabled on the Mi8, when turning the screen on it causes a brightness flash when coming out of standby the first time. It'll have to be fixed upstream I suppose.

@ingbrzy Could you tell us what's Google's Digital Wellbeing app used for in this rom? It comes preinstalled to /system. If disabled/removed (tested) you get less battery drain and everything seems to works just fine including the new screen time function.

I was mistaken, step counter is there but it's only available if using stock Miui launcher, Poco launcher doesn't have it.

I'm using stock Miui classic theme icons on the Xiaomi.eu ROM and very happy, it's a two second flash just after updating.

@ingbrzy TY for the update. Feedback: On Mi8 there is no step counter on assistant screen. Pls remove custom icons from classic theme.

You can only boot to twrp with ARB in place and not install it afaik.

@ingbrzy Using default theme some apps have a horrible black border around the icon instead of a white one, e.j Samsung Health app. Is this intentional? Thx

Hello and firstly thank you for all the hard work the xiaomi.eu team puts into this project. Camera 2 API has been enabled on the Mi5 & Mi6 in your past updates. Is there any reason not to enable it also on the Mi5s??

I've got a Garmin hr wrist band that works perfect over bluetooth with the Garmin app, the band also supports ant+ so my idea was to get a real-time hr measurement with runtastic while out running. I don't understand why they have the ant service installed if it doesn't seem to do anything at...

Does anybody know if the Mi5 supports Ant+ to connect to bluetooth heartrate monitors? I can see that Ant+ services are preinstalled but I can't seem to get a connection with Runtastic. I'm on latest developer rom so that could be the problem, not sure though.

It should be that when a phone is on standby, screen of sitting on a shelf, the cpu should be hardly in use at all, and this is the tipical reboot scenario, not while your playing a game which puts heavy load on cpu+gpu.

Could you try one more thing just to test? This would be without using the wake lock app and stock rom. Put you phone into performance mode and with kernel audiutor change the CPU governor back to interactive and the GPU governor back to msm-adreno-tz. Thanks
