Android Auto does not start with original USB Cable

My Xiaomi Redmi Note 11s is not recognized by my Peugeot 2008 model 2020. Screen flickers trying to show USB settings. Tried several cables. Works only with a lend cable from a Lenovo P11 Plus tablet (can't keep the cable, because it's not mine). I guess it has something to do with the phone...
