Can I make a Full Backup of the ROM I currently have?

Good morning everyone, I'm new here. I wanted to try the MIUI12.5 ROM on my MI 8 Lite but I'm afraid of some problem. Is there a way I can backup the ROM I currently have with all the data exactly the same? Similar to what happens with the iPhone.
