Mi TV stick 4K not appearing as casting destination

Hi, I am switching from chromecast 4k to mi stick 4k. Everything looks fine up to now except for casting. My chromecast shows casting destinations even when it is switched off. When I choose one of the destinations it automatically starts up and switches on the TV. But my new MI TV stick 4K...
