After day and half I can confirm that Mi 9T Pro finally stays in deep sleep when FOD is turned on. This is first build after 20.7.2 where deep sleep works normally. Thank you devs!

Ok people you are writing same stuff all the time. Deep sleep does work for some time after flashing or rebooting phone but after 10-15 hours it just stops working and phone is awake all the time. So before you write that deep sleep is working just wait for 10-15 hours and check is it working...

If you bought Franco kernel manager you can see deep sleep/awake time in status bar. You can also see deep sleep in Accubattery or GSAM apps which are free on Play Store.

Just to report that I tested with static wallpaper too but still not have deep sleep. I will test couple of more things and if I don't fix this deep sleep issue it will be time to say goodbye to xiaomi.eu betas and flash another ROM.

I dirty flashed it and I don't notice any issues. Mi 9T Pro have same July security patch both on 20.7.2 and 20.7.9. Also have in mind that I clean flashed 20.7.9 just a day before dirty flashing 20.7.2 over it so system was pretty clean and maybe that's the reason I don't have any issues.

Mi 9T Pro MIUI 12 20.7.9 deep sleep issues. Device almost always awake and screen off battery drain is huge. 20.7.2 don't have issues.

I clean flashed 20.7.9 and without any downloaded apps after couple of hours it just can't enter deep sleep and stays awake all the time. On 20.7.9 my Mi 9T Pro also sleeps fine when I reboot it but after about an hour it just stays awake all the time and can't catch a single second of doze. I found out that it's mostly being kept awake by "MamlViewContainer"but I don't know what is that process and even google search doesn't help.
